CH-CH-CH-CHIA is in your head now. You are welcome.
A Chia Pet is a terracotta planter shaped like a creature, plus a packet of seeds that sprout into a ridiculous green coat in a week or two. Water it. Do not expect conversation. Joseph Enterprises has been growing this bit since the 1980s — rams, puppies, gnomes, and a rotating cast of people who agreed to become planters.
When the sprouts get shaggy, rinse and replant. It is gardening for anyone who wants a punchline on the windowsill. The gnome linked here is a current official kit (seeds, drip tray, instructions). The ram is the cultural artifact. Both are the same joke with different facial hair.
